    Rotary Screw Air Compressor Oil

I've got about 1/2 drum (approx 25 gallons) of Mobil Rarus 827 synthetic oil for rotary screw/vein compressors. Probably $1000 worth of oil that I'd sell for $450. I suppose I could pail it in 5 gallon containers and sell in smaller quantities if needed. Maybe entertain some trades for tools...

    My new 36' x 56' Polebarn - Pictures

I still need to get some pictures of how the tin fits around the windows... Yes, the stringers are built out and the tin is attached to those. Maybe this one helps?

    My new 36' x 56' Polebarn - Pictures

I don't have any pictures of the inside of the windows. I'll try to grab a camera and get you a couple. There isn't much to them for trim. They just used a roll of white aluminum and made most of the trim.

You could use metal angle to anchor the door. The wood in the ceiling would take the weight of the overhead door better since the ceiling tin is only anchored in on 8' centers.

Fluorescent light arrangment and breaker size

Here's how I arranged mine. It's a 36' x 56' building with 12' ceilings. The 4' fixtures are mounted to the bottoms of the trusses which are on 8' centers. There are 28 Energy Star T8's with two 4' bulbs in each fixture. Electronic ballasts. I have them divided on three seperate grids...

    isulating a steel building

This is how they built my polebarn. And they gave me a heck of a warranty too so they must have some confidence in this technique. R-19 blankets 6" thick - 8' wide. Covered with visqueen and sheeted in white ribbed steel.

    Post your lighting!!

I'm proud to show off my new building with lighting. It's a 36' x 56' building with 12' ceilings. There are 28 Energy Star T8's with two 4' bulbs in each fixture. Electronic ballasts. I have them divided on three seperate grids controlled by motion sensors (adjustable time and there is a...

    My new 36' x 56' Polebarn - Pictures

The trusses are on 8' centers. I think the ceiling panels are a hair over 16' and overlap each other slightly and are screwed into the bottoms of the trusses. I ordered trusses with heavier ratings so I can support the weight of the ceiling tin and insulation. Make sure you place wood in the...

Thanks for the compliments! The building is by FBI. www.fbibuildings.com Contact me by PM if you are interested in one of their buildings or kits and I can put you in touch with a salesman who is great to work with. I'm very happy with them. I priced Morton, Cleary, Graeber and another...

    Do anti-fatigue mats really work?

I have no doubt you'd be happy with a Hog Heaven mat. If the Summit one doesn't work, then give the Hog Heaven one a shot. We have guys who will stand at a buffer all day and I bought a bunch of the 2' x 3' ones for them. That's a miserable job made a little more tolerable. Over an 8 hour...

    Do anti-fatigue mats really work?

I am the safety coordinator at a large machine shop. We've been in business for a long time and I can't imagine not having these mats. It's like early x-mas when I bust out new mats for the guys. Like mentioned above, the ones with holes in them are dirt collectors. I wouldn't buy one...

    Steel building electrical

I don't believe that it's "clearly not allowed" based on the way the regulation reads. The door is not a permanent obstruction and when opened, it allows sufficient access based on the code requirements. You'd have to have the door open to actually expose live electrical components and there...
