Nevermind, separated it with a rubber mallet. Worked like a charm!

Can someone tell me how two separate the two halves of the grinder? Some of the insulation has deteriorated on the wires and I can't reach it without separating. Thanks for the help guys!

Well I found out the other day that I will be moving to Germany. Will I be able to pick up quality European tools from yard sales, estate sales, etc? Also, what are some of the better tool brands to pick up when available?:beer:
