Today was the day Turned in an old worn out battery and got a nice 20V 3AH Advanced and a $50 off coupon. I bought the $99 two battery combo and the shop vac was free so total was about $55. Great deal.

:cool: You know I'm in on this deal! There are several Lowe's locations around here in central Texas doing this promotion. Strangely, there are no locations I saw around DFW that I could point my son in law to. I wish I hadn't recycled all those Craftsman 12V batteries I used to have.

The big'n'! They are nice boxes, no doubt. I got the military discount so that helped. I'm sure they will be discounted whenever they are discontinued. The guy at Lowe's told ne they don't show 'discontinued' yet so you 'll have to wait for some type of sale. I'm looking to score the 63'...

I've been working on cleaning up this cabinet made by my great grandfather in the 40s or 50s. It is built completely with screws. Mostly brass and a few steel, but all slotted head. Mostly spent time on the hardware and glueing some splits back together .
