    Matco Tool Box Drawer Glides

I messed up the drawer slides on a cobalt tool box I basically dropped trying to load it onto a truck, loaded. (The toolbox, not me). I went to the big box store and got drawer slides-nice ball bearing kind. Back home, removed the damaged **** and riveted the new ones in place. Smoothest drawer...

    Water Coming in Garage Door

Can't see the pics, either... but if you had a shed roof type of awning over the door, would it divert the water far enough away to where it can drain away? Good luck with it.

    standing water in gravel driveway

I'm voting to grade it to fix it. Give the water a way to go where it wants to go, within reason. The high spot (blue lines) needs to be pulled back and spread where its needed. The "low spot" (puddle) needs to be higher than the rest of it. Really, a slope away from the building is the shizzle...

Backhoe vs miniex for roads, sitework.

After you get the road sort of laid out, after you've added rock and walked it in,(a good dump truck driver is worth the $) you might check with independent paving companys to see if they have a smaller motorgrader. That would do a good job on the ditches, and get the crown right. If you get...

What do you think of Harbor Freight tools?

I saw the video of the guy tuning up his belt/disc sander. I've got the same one, works fine the few times I need it. Also saw a video of guys taking apart the angle grinders, and putting better grease in them -where it needs to be- cuts the vibration out. I've bought a tool to take tension off...

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Bob Heine's Auto Emporium

Bob, I sure do enjoy your thread- A daily 'check' for me. I feel guilty seeing what you're up, all the time it seems. I don't get nearly that much done with all the free time I have these days. But, don't feel bad about the guilt trip you're spreading around- and I won't mention the birthday...

    Arkansas Shop Build

Nice setup- looks like a great location. I'd like to build a place in the woods like that. Arkansas is pretty, from what little bit I've seen.

Storm drain blocking my access road to property. What can be done?

I suggest calling Public Works, and see if someone can meet you there. Explain what you want/need. If Public Works or Road Dept. can't help they should be able to refer you to Storm water Management, or Environmental Management. You may have to be a squeakier wheel than you'd like to get what...
