I don't believe I'll regret these HFT items

I have one of those. Used it maybe 5 or 6 times. Sits in the shed now. I had it mounted on concrete at my last house and it worked well. Haven't needed it since I moved so I never figured where or how to mount it here. I glued pieces of garden hose to the clamps to cushion against the wheel.

    Alignment on 4 post lift

I have a quick trick alignment setup. Works pretty good. I made turn plates from sandwiched squares of lexan with grease in between. I can us eat on my 4 post very easily. I've done it on the ground but its a pain in the *** since I can't reach the adjustments without lifting the vehicle up...

    Removing decals from aluminum trailer

so, some of the stickers came off pretty good with heat. A couple just wouldn't budge, so I used an eraser wheel on those. Still gotta go back and clean off residue, I got the 3M adhesive remover for that. Thanks for the advice!!!

    Removing decals from aluminum trailer

I'm aware. There is already some of that from previous signage on the trailer, apparently one of the previous owners was a business of some kind. I may go back and paint it at some point. But for the price I paid, I'm not mad

    Removing decals from aluminum trailer

I knew that had to come at some point...LOL. HD's are just too small for me. They all feel like I'm sitting on top of the tank. I really wanted a Street Glide until I rode one...

    Removing decals from aluminum trailer

hey all, I recently picked up a used enclosed motorcycle trailer. Its older but in nice shape. Only issue is the previous owner applied a bunch of Harley-Davidson decals on the exterior. They are old and ugly, plus I ride a Victory.... I need advice on the best way to remove them without...

    Advantage Lift 4-Post

Some lifts have an air operated release, others have a lever. So on the Advantage there is a lever at the same corner as the hydraulic unit that you hold down to disengage the locks. You have to hold it the whole time you are lowering until you are below the bottom most lock position. I have...

    Advantage Lift 4-Post

When I was looking to buy I compared the design of a bunch of lifts that would work for me. I saw some certified lifts that looked much less beefy than this lift. I believe I read somewhere that the manual lock release on this lift prevents it from being certified. While it is made in China...

    Advantage Lift 4-Post

Mine is not the XLT, its just the standard 9000 lb Advantage lift. But I love it! Had it about 6 months now and I use it quite a bit. My ceilings are 11 ft, and I can lift my full size Blazer project so I can work under it pretty comfortably (I'm 6'3"). When not in use I park my lowered 1970...

Kwik bay lift - how do you get it home

I have a 4-post lift that was delivered and installed by the vendor. They brought it on a roll back truck. Shot the roll back into the garage and slide the pallet off into the garage, then they assembled it. Worked nice and slick. It was a tight fit through the stand size garage door but it...

Low rise lift users chime in please (think its my only option)

I have the quick jacks 7000 lb versions. Only used them a couple of times so far. They work pretty good. One issue is the car has to move lengthwise about a foot as its lifted, they don't lift straight up. So you have to plan for that. The 7000 version are pretty heavy, so they are not fun...
