If you are fabricating steel that has a flat for the magnet, they make clean holes quickly. The rotabroaches are kind of expensive, but for occasional use import would be OK. I'd love to have one, even if seldom used.
I agree that my Kyocera chef's knife isn't as sharp as my Henkels knives. It is fun to use occasionally, but not every day. I don't like having to be so careful with it contacting anything hard are dropping it or something on it.
I think for the cook who is in touch with his or her knives, and...
I perused your restoration and I look forward to seeing the rest of it. You are a master! I know why the saloon that used to be in pat the welders shop went out of business. Too much f'ing overhead!
I love the Hendrix poster! I am a Hendrix and BSA singles fan and love seeing them together in...
I wouldn't have thought craftsman made whitworth tools. My wrenches and sockets are proto that were given to me. As a fellow brit single owner I look forward to viewing your resto pics. I have had my victor special since 1978. I just started it and revved it a few times just because a half hour...
The 162 8716 handle which is a Cat part, appears to be identical to the Snap On handle L872H. The small end fits my L112E flex head, the other end is 7/8" and fits later flex heads and ratchet heads. No knurling on the handle.
The rep at Sears wasn't even surprised, said he's seen screwdrivers with blades installed backwards. Just handed me the correct socket and said "have a nice day."
I am in the exact same situation. I had my flex head replaced by Snap On, and the replacement didn't fit my handle, but when I figured out it didn't fit it was too late to do anything about it. The L872H handle has two different diameters and one is 13/16". I'll have to buy one if I want my flex...
When I say stupid crud like this on bobistheoilguy, I might get a request to add a smilie when being sarcastic. Obviously not needed here!
Rodcraft sells a 1 1/2" drive impact that generates I think 14OO ft/lbs, what is the best system of adapters to get down to a 3/8" hex.
I'm looking at my new USA made 1/2" drive deep impact set, and I notice the broaching on the 7/16" and 3/8" looks the same. I got a 3/8" allen socket and tried it in both and they are the same, the 7/16" is broached 3/8" It doesn't seem to be a 3/8" socket roll marked wrong due to the way the...
