I have or had one of those Kraeuter ratchets. I don’t see how the handle would be uncomfortable, unless you’re using it as a hammer. The two sides you actually put pressure on to turn it are smooth and round/convex (or are they flat…I don’t recall). The cross section of the grip is very similar...

Added these 6” pincers to my collection Sunday, but have not spotted them in catalog. They do not resemble Utica, S&H, nor Crescent “carpenters pincers” which typically include a screwdriver and claw on the ends of the handles and often a Buttons (notch-type) wire cutter in the jaws. These jaws...

No - only $1! (Which is only 25¢ more than new ninety-five years ago.) But as I said, it looked to me like it might be missing parts. I imagined something adjustable sliding in the slots, held by a screw. And I had no idea what it was. (Not that I have a use for it.) I may see it again.

Picked up an interesting pliers this morning, marked UDF&TCo, but no model number. They have side cutters, a small-diameter toothed opening, and a flat mouth with worn cross-hatched teeth. The nose is rounded off and looks original. Overall, similar but different from a No325. Haven’t found them...

Picked up a No56 VacuumGrip Newport PA linemens today. I did not have one this size. It wasn’t rusty, but seemed to have been painted black at some point. Got that off (and out of the sticky pivot).
