every house wire cable has a bare ground 12/3 or 12/2, in a 2-gang box basically 2 1-gang boxes together you can have up to 5 wires plus 2 wire nuts (marrette) in each 1-gang box so you don't have any box fill problems. you need 2 3-way switches at each 2-gang box Blaine

here is how I run 3-way switches. put a 2-gang box a each location with switching 2 banks of lights you need to run 2- 12/3 (red, black, white and bare ground) in between the 2 gang boxes. feed one 2 gang box with power the white wire from power feed get connected to the 2 white wires of the...
