Finally got hold of Mr Heater, they sent me out a new control board and now the unit works fine again. Guess what I was still under warranty, didnt even have to pay for shipping.

well that was a short lived victory. Ill have to try tech support.

Thanks guys i pulled out the ignitor, repositioned the electrodes for the hundreth time and solved the problem, i think thanks again

when ignitor turns on i used a long reach fire starter and sparked it. the gas ignited . it went thru a full heat cycle then shut off. When it was time to re start the same happened and had to manually re ignite the gas. This unit worked fine for a while, then this problem

i have a 75 k Natural gas big maxx. the vent fan starts,the electronic ignitor starts.(the spark is minuscule ) the gas turns on, it doesnt light ,the unit then shuts off. How big of a spark does it need to ignite. could it be the ignitor or the unit the ignitor is plugged into.
