    Recommend Me a Torque Wrench

Can someone recommend me a decent torque wrench for at least 92ft. lbs? I will be tabbing the dowel pin on my Dodge Cummins and will need to torque the engine damper bolts. I would rather not spend a lot of money, $100 or less. I don't care if it's new or used. I'm guessing the beam type is all...

Nothing against them. I just am not a fan of the Cherokee, and I don't know of any other Jeeps getting good mileage. Chevy, I've driven 1500s and I don't like how they feel. I've heard about a lot of trouble with Chevy's fuel pumps and trannys too. Dodge I guess did one thing right with the...

    Recommend Me A Truck

I try to, whenever I can. But it doesn't mean much when the majority of the American truck parts are foreign and they aren't even assembled here.

Can't stand it here. My grandpa was born in Oklahoma but raised in Arkansas, a lot of my family lives there. I really like it there good fishing, duck hunting, no whacko liberals, ridiculous laws, or outrageous taxes. And most of the people over there have resepect and morals. Half the people...

    Recommend Me A Truck

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes. I figure a lot of you guys are car guys. I currently am considering a small pickup. I used to be all about full-size, but I need to be smart. I'm going to college, might start commuting, and plan to move out of state sometime in...

I think I saw your thread, I'll have to check it out. The bedliner can didn't mention you can paint over it. Unless I overlooked it. I picked up the undercoating because it mentioned you could. And I'm using a different top coat than Rustoleum. Thanks, bud. Good luck to you too.

A little update. Today I grinded down the rivets and removed the hinges and trays. Almost got it all down to bare metal. I also cleaned up the hardware with a wire wheel on the Dremel and some steel wool. I'm gonna have to work on that a bit more; it's not as clean as I'd like it. I picked up...

    Vintage Tackle Box Resto

Anyone? I had the thought of spraying the bottom of the box inside and out as well as the bottom of the trays with bedliner. I have heard the Rustoleum bedliner says it can be painted over. Not sure if it would hold up or if there's something more HD available.

I would if it was something rare or I had some connection with the original owner. I'd rather clean it up and give it my own patina.

I've got it down to bare metal with 100g. Would there be any benefit to using etch and then high build on top? Do I need to use a finer grit to sand out the scratches on the bare metal or will it sand smooth after primer? Thanks for the help. Also does anyone know if those spray on bedliner...

Got the tackle box. Sanding. I sanded with 100 grit, planning on going 150, and then 220. How does that sound to you guys? Should I use an etching primer?
