    Lashing winch for car tie down in enclosed trailer

    I've done this in my enclosed trailer. You can get fixed length straps made by Mac I believe. I would pull in a little to far with the winch, hook the straps up then let the car roll back. Then I would tighten the car down from the rear with ratchet straps.

    This is probably a stupid question... but can mild steel be welded to Stainless Steel? I've got an O2 bung that is mild steel that I need to weld to my stainless exhaust. I'm to new at tig welding to try it so if it can be done I'll MIG it. If not I'll order SS bungs and have it TIG welded...

    Detailing inside garage

    I'd cut the OSB about 2" up off the concrete floor. If not, even though the walls are painted tjw OSB is going to wick the water up. I'd also get sheets of FRP board and glue them to the walls standing up.

    I need some advice / help on what am I doing wrong. I'm trying to weld an inside corner and I can't figure it out. The 2 pieces are different thicknesses, 1/16" piece into 1/8" piece.     Tungsten question

    Ok thanks I'll use the grinder to cut them. I usually do sharpen a couple as I go. I'm assuming the blackness is do to touching the aluminum.. I'm new to this so it happens.. it might also be the post flow. I have it turned down because I thought it helped with the weld after your done welding...
