    Pouring concrete over a grounding rod to ground a polymer concrete handhole?

    Copper Ground rod in concrete? We don't allow that in my industry, even ufer grounds require the bonding lead (Al) to extend beyond and through the formwork. I believe the concern is potential for corrosion if the ground rod touches any of the reinforcement steel. Agree with Stuart above...
