I replaced all o-rings. The pump has 1 spring that pushes 2 metal (pump paddles ? ) 4 of them two springs, rotate to pump oil. I do not see how they could draw oil up to the pump without oil in the pump. In the bigger pumps like 325 will it draw oil when it is dry?

No it does not have high pressure intake loader. The pressure release is just piped into the head. This is only the second time in my 59 years I have tried to fix one of my compressors. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

I replaced rings, rod bearings, crank bearings & race, shim, seals, gaskets, and o-rings. Cleaned old values. Took oil pump apart cleaned it. Do I need to prim the oil pump to make it start pumping?

Rebuilt my Quincy 308-22 . Now it will not pump oil. Any advice.

Do you have to replace the valves, or can they be broken down to replace disk, and springs? 308 Quincy
