We have a small corner of the building which has an office, bathroom and above ceiling storage with an attic ladder access, we can get above the ceiling grid, the vapor barrier and into the insulation and rest of the building from that route

The insulation would be on top of the vapor barrier, the ceiling is a foot below that

The ceiling tiles are Armstrong, made with mineral fiber. We are planning to reinforce the vapor barrier with either furring strips or metal strapping. We will have about 13" of insulation

Thanks everyone, I just got off the phone with the truss manufacturer. He says there should be no issue with doing a steel siding ceiling and insulation, so I think that is the route we are going to go

I was thinking about that, I know I can do it just wasn't sure if the additional weight would help or hurt

I believe the 25#psf is snowload, I will double check and also try and find out who manufactured the trusses. TY, and we are just outside of Marysville, our building code requires 20 sf snowload
