Do you have a floor drain, and is your floor sloped properly? All the research I have done indicates that it is not a concern as the water is supposed to flow under the tiles. Perhaps someone that has Racedeck can comment.

UPDATE Thanks for all of the info. I met with the builder & HVAC installer, and I insisted that we use insulation. So here is the stack of insulation sheets that is onsite & waiting to be installed. 2" thick sheets of high density foam.

Can you explain that a little more? What is the rule in laymans terms?

Update The heating guy reccomends Slabshield. Our builder has not used any form of insulation under the tubing in the last couple of builds; he says that by not using the 2" insulation sheets, we can take advantage of the Geo-Thermal effect. The house is a 1.5 story with a walkout basement...

If I understand correctly after doing some research tonight, the order starting at the bottom is earth/dirt, then vapor barior, then 2" foam insulation, then water tubing with the concrete poured on top of that. Right? Thanks for your help
