    I used a Napa 25-100655 9 rib belt. It is about 1.5" wide and I drilled 1 hole in each valley where the rib on the pulley would go. My lathe has the motor in the pedestal under the headstock. Louis

    I started to apply it by myself and had to grab one of my neighbors real quick to get the job complete. It is important to keep a wet edge so you have to move quickly to get a good result. After 14 years I have 1 3" spot that flaked up by the rest is in good shape. Louis
