Spent 7 years as an estimator and project manager for a commercial construction company in Houston. From there I went into purchasing for a metal building fabricator . They folded, and I was recruited by the UT M. D. Anderson Cancer Center procurement department. From there I went to Shell Oil U. S. and negotiated their software licenses and research agreements with governments and universities in the U. S. and overseas. I retired 8 years ago and spend most of my time traveling, cruising, working on cars, and finding creative ways to fritter away time.
