I have two 6" Records, if you're looking to get some feedback. ;) Just kidding. Those are ****** gorgeous though, nice job!! Be warned though, Records done always have the bolts for the jaws in the same place. On my two the jaws aren't compatible. Sent from my B15 using Tapatalk

Sub'd! I'd probably just drill into that taper you got turnedand put in a locator pin or even a bolt. There isn't any rotational force like you mentioned, so you don't need anything as tough as a big ole key.
