So I went out to have a look at these boxes. The Pro Point is definitely made by International. Both boxes have the same construction. Rolled drawer edges, reinforcement folds are the same on both. Without actually taking a mic to measure the metal gauge, I would say both are the same. The ONLY...
Thanks for the in depth review....it is appreciated. I will pop over to PA at lunch today and have a look at the Pro Point and their 42". I will try and grab a few pics.
I have seen the 42" at PA and I agree with you.....not overly impressive. Thin metal and the drawer edges are not even folded. I was hoping that the 56" that is sold at Costco or HD was better quality. If I could just see one in person before committing .....or I bite the bullet and head to the...
I am intrigued by the SPG 56" Value series (SPG calls it Tech series now). The problem is that there is no place you can actually see one and gauge the quality. Are the drawer edges rolled? Any other comments you can make on the quality would be appreciated. The other option is a quick trip to...

Decisions, decisions........

PS: Anyone interested in buying from CT, Rexall PharmaPlus has CT gift cards for 10% off this week. The welder ended up costing me just over $400...
Shipped to the border after cost analysis. Oh, and NEVER use UPS. Their brokerage and admin fees will double your cost usually. Always use USPS (smaller items) first as they have an agreement with Canada Post when it comes to brokerage fees.
A couple of interesting items coming up in the next flyer. Lincoln MIGPak 140. These use to go on sale for $499 but the last year or so the best price was $539. This one will be $449 AND will also include an accessory kit. Can you say Father's Day? The second item is the Maximum Fixed/Plunge...
I still get the 'sneek peek'. I subscribe to the newsletter and it usually comes out via an email link at some point on Wednesday.
If you have an iDevice, there is an app called Reebee that shows upcoming and current flyers.
