    Above 1200 Sq/FT My new garage build! 30x50 !

Have you looked at a BMW m340i or the older 340s? My wife had a TSX, we went to buy another (TLX i think now?) and was not impressed. Went down the rabbit hole and ended up with a M340i for "her" car and one I can track once the warranty is out. Another top contender was a Genesis G70 3.3L...

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT From a "double" to a DOUBLE

How do you like the spoiler on the M340i? Bought a dravit grey one "for my wife's car" earlier this year and love it so far. Have been looking at some OEM'ish looking spoilers and AA does look like a great bang for the buck. The mixture of performance, handling, and comfort is hard to beat...

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT From losing everything to being cash-poor and shop-rich in "only" five years!

Edit - tried quoting "Man, catching up on your thread, I wish I had my lathe back together (been too busy to find a machinist to take a couple thou off the spindle bearing surfaces)." but it didn't work This feels a little stalker'ish..... but since someone else already said they live by you...

    Beginner Welder

Check out Hobarts "refurb" site. I bought a 190 there 3-4 years ago and it looked brand new, probably was a return. It took a couple months for me to find one on there but i think it was only 500something. I wanted one that would still work incase i got into heavier stuff so figured it was...

Best way to set steel mailbox post

Thanks for all the replies! I live in NW WA so not super concerned about snow/salt...there is melting snow on the ground now but we only get it a coupke times a year. Also on a straight non pass through suburban'ish street so if you manage to hit the pole thats on you, across the street...

Best way to set steel mailbox post

Tubing is about 65", could drop a larger post and tack it in but would rather not. Also not sure if my 240v extension would reach that long (Hobart 190 but can borrow my buddies 120 hf welder if need be). Mainly just trying to delay rusting of the main painted post. Sounds like gravel base...

Best way to set steel mailbox post

Forgot to take pictures during welding but have a 4x4 mailbox stand. Painted with rustoleum hammer. Replacing rotten wooden stand and wondering what's the best way to mount it? Was going to to concrete but read that might not be the best. Will be in this house for less than 10 years if that...

    Bed Cover

I have this on my work truck and it works very well. If the truck was mine and wasnt going to be replaced in 3 years I'd probably get something better but i love it for the price. Think it was about 200 for the short bed Chevy Colorado model. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I would just buy a Toyota one, especially if it has the transmission cooler worked into the radiator. Aftermarket ones are known to break on the transmission side which can ruin your engine due to the higher transmission pressure. Probably the same part as a v8 4g 4runner. Sent from my...

    Removing a Broken Fence Post

Ive had luck screwing a scrap piece of wood into it then using a floor jack. Scrap plywood under jack so it doesnt sink. Hit the post with a sledge a few times before to loosen it up. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Hobart vs Vulcan vs Titanium...

Novice here but got a Hobart 190 "refurbished" on sale for around 500 last year and love it. Looks brand new and never had any non user inflected issues with it (gun not fully seated). Would be nice to have "infinite adjustment" but for a hobbyists i feel like its more than enough. If it were...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Jeff's Mountain Side Shop (Portland)

Great shop/house build! Awesome area too, Vancouver/Portland is one of the few areas I would consider relocating too. I think I just remembered where I thought I read your user name before. Did you used to be on NAIOC? You are/were a tuner correct? I used to own a STi so was on there a lot...
