I had the same compressor. It recently broke a rod and I was able to get it running on one cylinder. It takes a long time to fill but seems ok. I replaced it with a dual stage unit and it is so much better its not even funny. But, after 13 years of service I can't really complain.

My 13 year old Craftsman 5hp 60 gal 240v compressor died last night. I actually broke a connecting rod on one of the cylinders. :wtf: It made a hell of a racket when it went! I was actually was able to pull that piston and get it running, but I see this as a short term fix... I use allot...
