I'm a wrench-twister since I was old enough to help Dad... mainly farm equipment repair/service on the ranch where I grew up. We did most of the service work on our diesel tractors and equipment... Case, Massey-Ferguson, New Holland and Allis Chalmers. I helped rebuild a Ford 8N tractor in high school and practically lived in the high-school wood shop. Later in life I worked in the US Air Force wrenching on F-15 Eagles.
I'm also a chronic gearhead, happiest working on old cars and trucks and ressurrecting old iron. Working on a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne C20 pickup now, equipped with a 402 BBC. I also enjoy restoring vintage machinery, such as metal-working or wood-working machines.
