Nothing fancy...Ibuilt a 2'x8' and 4' x 8' 3/4" plywood "tables" to attach to the arms to use for many different things...whatever you can think of. At the moment I have a frame I'm building for a kayak/canoe trailer on the big table so I don't need to weld on my knees anymore. When done with...
Just tried to fire up my hydronics system today. filled the tubes and bled the air out as best we could and tried to light the heater. I'm using a Takagi Jr on demand propane water heater with exactly the same set up as I have in my other shop which was installed by a plumber. It's been working...
My new shop is heated with in floor hydronics and I'm thinking of putting the 60 gal compressor in the hanger which is unheated but directly adjacent to the shop floor, mostly to keep the noise out of the shop. I put a valve on the drain **** to make it easier to dump water in the bottom and I'm...
Anyone know if that Net Gear box will work thru a meter connection?
I have a 400 amp service, 200 amp to the house and 200 to the shop split with separate breakers...2 hots and a neutral each way from a common bus. Seems like it should work...eh?
I have Grizzly combo mill/30" lathe. Yeah it's a pain to change over and if I was doing "real" machine work I'd get better equipment. I bought it when I was rebuilding a 1949 Willis CJ-2A and with some care I made all the stuff I needed.
Also building a plans built CM tube and alum wing plane...
Does anyone have a simple (read not a funnel and hose) way to get the hydronics charged with antifreeze? It's a new system which is pressure tested but has no water yet. Holding a 5 gal bucket of antifreeze and pouring into a funnel doesn't appeal to me. Also, should there be formula for mixing...
Poured my hanger floor this morning and sealed with Diamond Clear. I used it on my shop floor almost 3 years ago and it's holding up pretty well considering the abuse it's put up with. $120/5 gal bucket which covered the 2000 SF with a little left over.

I put a 22 hp HF engine with a chain drive to power my 5' two stage snow blower. We got about 108" of snow this past Winter and most of it was moved on a 90' drive and 1/4 acre parking area with the blower. Started at -15F and was a little heavy on fuel use but it was also working pretty hard...
I have a 40' x 50' x 16' shop that I put in hydronics but haven't fired it up yet. plan is to use an on demand propane water heater to heat the water. Question is could the Toyo be used to replace or back up the propane heater using a copper coil mounted on the heater. It might be capable of a...
I have a first year FC 150 (1957) that is running but needs work to be right...I'll work on it as soon as I finish the airplane (Bearhawk LSA) I'm building. Oh yeah, I need to build a hanger and a new house...but I'll get to it. This is my 9th "old" jeep...last was a '49 2A with a 360...
I'm building a 40' x 50' in Athol. We got the roof on in November and siding in early December and stopped work when it went dead cold and miserable. I started working again yesterday. I live North of Sandpoint so it's 48 miles one way... no fun anymore. We're moving there once we sell out where...
