How useful will a set of 3/8 drive chrome swivel shallow sockets be? Especially since I already have a set of 3/8 drive chrome sockets and a universal joint?:)

Does anyone know if the Snap-on CTR3812 3/8 Drive Cordless Ratchet can be used to manually break a bolt loose before running the bolt down with the ratchet? The body seems to be made of a composite material, it’s not metal.

I am fairly certain that the tapping is comming from the engine, not the other things mentioned. The tapping starts at about 27 mph and continues to about 29 or 30 mph.

When i am driving in city traffic at 27 mph, my valves tap. I wonder if car may need new spark plugs. The car also sometimes cuts off during the first 20 minutes of driving. The car has 103,000 miles on the same spark plugs. I have not a good idea of what is wrong. Also, it would be good for me...
