    9/32" Snap on wanted

They were discontinued at the end of the World War II, so they might not pop up at every corner, but here in Italy it is almost impossible to find any!

    Barcalo and Vlcheck

Also Williams ( non Superrenches) had this kind of enamel finish. Very nice restoration, Elroy. Have you any tips for the so called Japanned finish, as seen on Billings & Spencer adjustables?

    Barcalo and Vlcheck

Elroy, I really think you are gifted, and you do outstanding work. I was wondering if you can make some old wrenches look as if they were new, not shinier than when they were new. I am talking of some parkerized wrenches, for instance. Some of the scarcest wrenches are worth of any possible...

Barcalo Bufaflo 11" (have you seen 'em)

Guys, let me try an explanation. Jeep toolkit collectors are very picky on the tools required in a jeep toolkit. Endless discussions on the correct brands can be read on jeep sites. The information on some brands is still far from exhaustive. It is easy to understand how some try to validate...

    Barcalo and Vlcheck

Elroy, maybe I am biased by my military tool interests, but I was wondering if in some cases the excessive shining might not actually detract from the originality of the wrench. Non shiny finish is actually a tell tale of many war time wrenches.

    Barcalo and Vlcheck

Mickey, let me tell you something about those Barcalo Buffalo 723's. They are worth a bunch of money: very true! But only to some military vehicle collector. They are the best choice for a Ford made war time jeep. I know, because I have blown incredible amounts of money on this kind of tools...

    Fairmount Tool Wrenches

Some Fairmount tools are quite collectable. As long as I know, the ones marked Fairmount Cleveland are of prewar manufacture. Fairmount was among the suppliers of tools to the Government in WW II, and also supplied tools for the Willys jeep toolkit in war time. I have never seen a Fairmount...

    Tools from the old world

Sorry for picking up this old thread. I was browsing through the forum looking for different information, and saw your post. I am pleasantly surprised to see that there is interest for Beta tools. I have owned some of my Beta tools since my earliest teens, after inheriting a few from my grand...

    Giller Tool Co?

Giller is the reason for my joining this forum! I recently "won" a nice little pouch of Ignition wrenches on ebay, and tried to find some information. Google directed me to this site.

Anyone here into collecting Walden Worcester tools

I do collect tools plausible of having been part of a military General Mechanics tool set. The Walden 1/4 drive set was among tools supplied to the military. So I did buy a set on ebay, and will try to complete it. At times, I have friends who buy for me on your side of the ocean, and then...

    Newcomer from Italy :introducing myself.

Good morning! I just joined, and I would like to introduce myself. I always had a soft spot for tools in general, since my earliest teens. My main interest is in WWII tools, related to jeeps. I also collect unusual adjustable wrenches, and I never considered a classic vehicle as complete, if not...
