Another Streamlight fan here. I have a microstream that has spent the last 5 or so years in the left front pocket of whatever pair of pants I am wearing at the time. I also have one of their slightly larger Wedge lights that takes the microstream's place when I actually plan to be in my shop.

Honestly I don't know what all they did. I was working on some other stuff while they were working.

Electrician came yesterday and it turns out there is an outdoor outlet on this same circuit. It is in a box that is supposed to be water resistant but leaked. New outlet and new enclosure on the outlet and I am good to go.

Thanks all. Y'all are confirming my thoughts. I hate to hire done what I am able to do myself, but electricity makes me nervous. So now to find an electrician.
