Yep - the middle screw is a GRK R4 - and I've not used them yet but as much as everybody talks about them, they seem like a great goto screw. Looking forward to building something substantial with them - especially as they sound better than the top screw. ... but still curious about that top...

What gauge wire did you settle on? 35' for 240V seems like you'd need a pretty thick cable, no? I have the 50' torch / pedal / ground for the TIG so the welder generally stays put - but you make a good point. That smaller Dayton looks like a nice unit.
