Marine Corps veteran (Field Artillery) turned professional mobile technician. I got all of my automotive training at the Universal Technical Institute (UTI), where I earned my factory training and certifications for Ford and General Motors.
Growing up, I spent a lot of time working on a farm fixing whatever broke down, which is where I first learned to appreciate tools. Today, I run my own mobile mechanic business. Because I work out of a mobile setup every single day, I rely on high-quality, dependable gear.
I’m pretty new to the vintage tool collecting scene, but I've recently started hunting down old, American-made iron to add to my rails—specifically pre-war and wartime pieces from makers like Herbrand and Plomb. I'm here to learn more about the history of these tools and track down a few specific gaps on my rails.
