I use Bostik Glidecoat or Boeshield T9. The Glidecoat was designed for tablesaw tops. It seals the metal and leaves a slippery powder behind which is great for helping wood literally Glide across the top. I use this on all my hand tools, none have rust on them. My 2c, hope it helps.

I highly recommend the Speedglass as well. I have the same one, worth every cent, especially when you consider you only get 1 set of eyes!

I have used both Knipex and others. The reason they are so expensive is because they are set to the correct standards for crimping pressure of the connectors. If you are needing the exact crimp pressures (home use) save yourself some money and look at other kits. I own a Knipex Ferrell Crimper...
I would hang on to the old Gem blades. They just don’t make things like that anymore. BTW they are still available today, division of Personna blades. If you don’t want the old Gems mail them to me, lol, or sell them on eBay.

I am running a Klein rechargeable, nice thing is at high settings it lasts 9hrs. The Milwaukee flashlights and headlights are disappointing when you look at runtimes.

How much would you want for that kit? It would be perfect for my work kit when I go back to work. I am an electrician and have been off for a while, first for family, then Corona virus hit and have been off then entire time. Should be going back in January. I want a decent kit, but money has...
Re: Do USB wall outlets just not exist to match the "traditional" oval style outlet?
Not to mention if anything caught fire and it’s determined it’s not UL rated, kiss your insurance goodbye. Not worth the risk.

Unless a problem happens, let’s say a fire. Then you have no insurance when they find the replaced non AFCI/GFCI breakers.

For utility blades I have found the longest lasting to be Fiskars, Tajima, or Lutz. The Fiskars are the sharpest I have used, Lutz second, Tajima third. The Tajima are made of Sk120 Japanese carbon steel, thicker than normal blades, great for not breaking or going offline when cutting.
