by roof deck do you mean spray foam the ceiling? Or the pitched roof sheating?

New homeowner here. Located in Smiths Falls, Ontario, I've got a 23x23 attached garage (attached just at roof by a breezeway). I plan to be in the garage a lot, so heating it is is gonna happen by winter 20/21. Its 2x6 framing with a trussed roof with a vent and I'm looking at insulating it...
