Hahaha... the things people do. Reminds me of a sanborn compressor I bought at a pawn shop. I had to talk them down because someone removed the pressure relief valve, unloader valve, and pressure switch and had it wired to run continuous; you had to manually shut it off or something would...
That's interesting, the switch has a different cut on and cut out pressure than the tank. Like you said, if its second hand who knows what's been done to it. Before buying a switch you can try adjusting the cut on and cut off pressures on the switch you already have. I did a bit of Google...
1st post I see. Welcome to the forums!
I'm no air compressor expert, but I'll take a stab at it. Those pressure switches seem to come on a lot of air compressors these days. IIRC the cover pops off and there and some adjustment screws to change the cut on pressure and cut off pressure...
So I aquired this sweet puller for FREE (I ****, I know). I mostly want to rub it in everyones face :lol_hitti. Anyone have any info on this? Perhaps a date range? It's in a nice wooden box which I'm guessing is custom made.
That happens all the damn time! I hate that seal. I bought a set of replacement seals from the Cornwell tools truck that comes by the shop. The replacement seals are Mastercool (my can tap is, I think made by FJC, but they're the same seal), part number is 85532-10 it comes in a 10 pack.
Haven't they had this promo at various tool websites for close to a year now? I'm just saying you don't have to jump on it. It'll probably be there for a while if you want to let it simmer a little.
I don't think that's true. Milton makes a V style quick connect that is high flow and looks similar to the A style. The female V style IIRC is backwards compatible with A style male ends but the V style male ends are not backwards compatible with A style femal ends.
Thanks for the post, I bought one. This is the cheapest I've ever seen this set. I've been watching Amazon and other places for a few months, and there was a deal for it on Ebay for 125.00 a few months ago.
Those list prices are funny. Even Amazon shows some asinine list price, but have it...
