Some shopping guidelines:
- CFM delivery at 90 PSI is more important (than at higher pressures) since that's what most air tools operate at. 16 CFM is good.
- On the basis of the previous statement, get a good quality Single-Stage compressor... since high pressure, e.g. over 135 PSI, isn't...
Thinking out of the box, I went to a local army surplus store and found they had racks full of "Naval Combat Clothing" - which is flame resistant (for obvious reasons) - both new and used. The used stuff looked like new to me and jacket & pants cost less than $40. The new stuff wasn't much more...
WD40 can give off some nasty fumes if it sees arc temps. I wipe down my table top with MIG anti-spatter paste from time to time. Keeps the corrosion at bay and prevents stuff sticking to it. Nice job. Love the levelers!
