I removed excess epoxy with a friends carpet removal tool. worked great. It has a big horizontal blade that moves side to side. peeled it up easy.

I called manufacturer. http://www.radonseal.com/contact-us.htm They said epoxy will bind to their product as is but if I want a smooth floor, I need to sand or grind it down.
