    Goodell-Pratt Company

Yes, it was a merged company with both names on the catalogs, and tools marked M.F. and G.P. into the 1940s.

Who makes these jack stands they say 10 tons and I’ll take a picture of the casting

The holes in the saddle casting may be intended for suspending a piece of pipe between a pair of stands for unreeling spools of wire and cable. (I don't know who made them though)

    Show your Millers Falls tools!

It is absolutely without a doubt Millers Falls. Somewhere I posted a picture of a new in-package spark plug socket that I had, but it must have been on another forum. I still have the socket and a few others, but I'm not sure if I saved the package when I opened it. Both Millers falls and...

    What is this tool?

If you search on google books a number of hits come up that show that it is indeed a tool for brake springs. They all seemed to be from 1946-1947. Unfortunately, the good looking publications are only available in a snippet view. On one of them though, the snippet happened to line up with enough...

Harbor Freight Electric Hoist – How to Extend the Remote Control Cable?

It is very common to use L14-20 Locking connectors for the "Pickle" control on the inverted chain hoists used in entertainment lighting/rigging.

    Vintage Combination Square

According to the Union Tool Company section of this Millers Falls history, Union Tool continued to label various tools with the Bates name through the 1920s. https://oldtoolheaven.com/millers-falls/history/history11.htm

    Show off Vintage Mayhew Stuff

That pin punch set is available on the shelf at all of the Home Depot stores near me. I'm only around 12 miles from where Mayhew makes them though. I'm not sure how widely they stock them in the stores nationally.

Greenfield Tap and Die set Logo Label Needed

Glad that one looks like it will work. I'm attaching the original and my edit again as files, in case the inserted image process lost resolution. Someone using better software like Photoshop etc might be able to get an even better image.

Greenfield Tap and Die set Logo Label Needed

I found the attached label photo with an image search. The link from the search was dead so I was only able to grab the thumbnail and brighten/sharpen a little.

    Champion wrench?

That's a cool vise! I have a Champion B&F post drill that i removed from the barn when my wife's mom and dad moved off the family farm. I asked my father-in-law if he was sure he didn't want to hold on to this piece of family history, but he deferred. He had no love for it, having been assigned...

    Books!

A while back I had some time to kill before a dentist appointment and decided to wander the multi-dealer antique mall in the same town. No tools were calling me, but I picked up this TM9-801 manual for a deuce and a half 6x6 truck. The cover is a bit rough, but the inside isn't bad. I was going...

Let's see your Billings and Spencer goodies

I got lucky with my search terms and only ended up with a few other rabbit holes bookmarked to distract me from my chores another time. :)
