    Epoxy or wedge anchors ?

Lots of good info guys ... thanks a lot !!! I ordered the epoxy anchor kit from GES. Rudy was a big help, and got the kit for $113 shipped. It contains 10 PS2-58 Wej-It anchors, and two tubes of EAC8 Epoxy. It should be here in time for next weekend re-install ;)

    Concrete Anchor bolts, now what?

That's not how the Wej-IT PD-58 anchors work.

    Concrete Anchor bolts, now what?

Would be possible to drill them out maybe ? This is the exact reason I am leaning towards the epoxy anchor kit from GES.

    Epoxy or wedge anchors ?

Well, it was Wej-IT themselves who suggested the epoxy anchors in place of the wedge ones provided with the lift. Moreover, the GES is a distributor for Danmar/Bendpak, and they sell the epoxy anchor kit. Also, the specs for the epoxy anchors surpass the wedge anchor specs by far. So there is no...

    Epoxy or wedge anchors ?

Well, after using the maxjax for 7 months, I decided to cut out and repour 4x4 concrete pads in order to locate the columns better in my garage. Originally I used the wedge anchors provided with the lift. Now, I have to buy a new set of anchors to re-install the lift on the new concrete, and...

    Garage remodel in France

ahhh ... the charming ole France ... I miss it already ;) I did some work on a family's home in Rouen couple years ago. I loved some of their solutions to problems. How about a 1/2 a sheet of drywall, beveled on both sides ? After spending some time there, I can tell you're lucky to have a...

    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

In prep for a more permanent maxjax install, I am considering moving the lines. I've seen several instances where people extended one or both lines to reach the remote control unit. Usually one of the lines is longer than the other. I was wondering if it would be possible to extend the single...

    Insulating garage doors?

I finally had time to snap few extra pictures of the 1" + 3/4" expanded foil faced poly installed in a regular 2" door.

    Insulating garage doors?

I purchased all the materials from Lowes. Only one store in Metro Detroit had the specified sizes. Expanded Poly is not as stiff as foam, and therefore installs easier. The foil facing helps lighting and heat reflection as well. The panel openings are approx 1.5 deep if you measure against the...
