Above 1200 Sq/FT The Suburban Working Garage in VA...now building the Highland House in the Teton Valley

My humble suggestion about moving tools.... and I'm saying this as I'm in the middle of a home renovation that basically required knocking down the garage that was pretty packed with tools, Bikes (cyclist) and lots of stuff. I bought a 7x16 trailer that I used to help a family member in need...

Don, Great to see you back at it in the shop. I was just thinking how cool it must be to have that skill level, desire, shop setup, time and means all intersect at the same time! I understand it came about after a lifetime of hard work and timing, but for all those factors to coincide along...

CCC, I have been following along from the beginning and just re-read the entire thread this weekend. Outstanding attention to detail, and great execution, I'm sure it's been frustrating. I was wondering at this point if you were still happy with your New Age Pro cabinets. I just started a...

not trying to give you ideas but... I'm in Northern NJ in the land of ridiculousness. I know of a few homes that use chandelier hoists (hidden by ceiling medallions) that are used to hoist and keep straight, monster Christmas trees. Thank you again for all the detailed updates, and sharing...

Below 265 SQ/FT Just Puttering About in my Basement Workshop

Fantastic job on the bench build! I have always thought (I'm sure I saw it somewhere previously) of building a "mortise and tenon" bench with 3 laminated 2x6's and just using the center 2x6 as the M and T. Thank you for the detailed description.

Jack on a lighter note (no pun intended) I thought of you yesterday. Your 1972 and Garage are the seeds of my obsessions, but yesterday I saw Stronghold was now making multi-drawer cabinets- I assume to compete with the likes of Lista and the like. I was however slightly bummed to see their...
