I know with at least the chainsaw it doesn't allow enough amps to be drawn for the chainsaw to work very well; I had to upgrade to a 5 ah one to get it to work correctly.
The new stuff *****, if you have to use it pour concrete and use anchors to keep it from touching the ground and protect the ends to keep it from absorbing water through the end grain.
I recommend Cree bulbs. I've found most of the other brands overdrive the leds to get the wattage they say they are and this results in them burning out. Basically manufactures have figured out how to ruin one of the two primary advantages to leds to ensure product turnover.
If you run a chain or cable to the top of the bucket from the clamp on portion of the fork like they are designed to do you won't bend the bucket; As far as 2000 pounds goes on bolt on forks I've lifted logs that weighed that much no problem and didn't bend anything. (the log was as close to...
A lot of led lights are overdriven to make them higher lumens than their rating, this will kill them. Buy a brand like Cree, basically a led company not a light company if you want them to last, you'll pay more, but they will actually last a while.
I don't consider my time, wear and tear on my body, and multiple trips to the store for Quikrete free. When I was younger I did everything my muscling through it and now that I am almost 60 I wish I hadn't.
Really, if price is a big consideration skip the Quikrete completely, buy 100 pound...
you may find that buying that many bags of dry premix is more expensive than building a bunch of cheap forms and ordering a load from a cement supplier.

I was always under the impression that you were supposed to strip off the topsoil, etc down to subsoil before doing this type of work because as the topsoil decays it will settle.
Its hard to believe you'll need 400 amps. what are you planning to do in the garage? I went 300 amps in my all electric house and that includes a wood shop and essentially two kitchens, and the Electrician thought I was crazy.
Thats kinda odd. I have a 18v recip saw I use them with and I get a lot more cutting than that out it. I use it for trimming branches and the only time I've seen that happen is if I'm trying to cut something crazy like a 8 or 10 inch branch. Usually it doesn't even happen then unless the...
Re: plywood craziness
Because of how they calculate inflation; Its a game, just like unemployment numbers. Only include the things in the calculations that give you the numbers you want.
Too bad about this; Dirt bag contractors ****. I got burned by a contractor I hired to build my house; He did some work (crappy) and then quit doing anything; Sadly in Pennsylvania its nearly impossible to bring criminal charges against contractors who don't do their work; They basically...
