I'm going with 26 gauge metal roof, but yes your right. I can probably use the c purlins them for something else

Hi guys and gals, I need some help with my build. I have just poured my concrete and set the poles for my future shop. The poles are galvanized 4x4 poles 12ft high every 10 feet apart. The shop is going to be 30feet wide by 75 feet. I have considered using 2x8 cee channel 18 gauge as the truss...
