So Can i get in on a box? I'm in California

My old SK tool box my dad got me, restored, and gave to me for christmas last year. Have before pictures somewhere... also I have the front name plate but haven't gotten it on yet.

there really does need to be a historical reference.... All I know is that it was probably bought in/after 1970, and all the responses seem to coinside with this. But the complete and utter lack of information, especially historical, on these boxes is really weird and annoying.
