I used all the Crescent double action pliers before I retired as a yacht sailboat rigger -Needlenose, lineman, dikes. Tho not super perfect-very very good. Doing lots of small work on small and large boat fittings required reliable alignment and gripping, good cutting leverage, share blades etc...
