I am looking for a quality 36” rolling tool chest 22”-24” deep. I want it to have a wood or steel top I can do work on. I saw the Milwaukee Model 48-22-8537 on Home Depot’s web site but not sure if there is a wood cabinet top that fits into the top of it. Any recommendations for other brands? Do...
Re: \"THE\" Watch Shop
You should never buy a watch as an investment. Yes there are a few exceptions where a certain model has gone up in value due to demand and rarity but that is only one watch here or there out of thousands of models. The value of a watch comes from wearing it and enjoying...
Re: \"THE\" Watch Shop
I love watches and loved the video! I could never "ignore the watch stuff".
For those of you who know your wife would be an obstacle to buying the expensive watch you really want, here is my story of how you pull it off. I collected Invicta watches that I was buying on...
I have a 42" Craftsman heavy duty stainless - and absolutely love it. The griplatch feature works great, and the drawers close easily and glide like the are on butter. The ones being sold by Craftsman now are of lower quality than the one I bought 5 or 7 years ago. I wrote this in another...
Wishful thinking. The posting is only about a mile away though. Still I need another tool chest like I need a hole in the head. Square footage around here is scarce.
It is so hard to judge the real quality of Craftsman cabinets. I have a stainless steel 42" Griplatch model from about 6 years ago and absolutely love it. It is of high quality, both in terms of strength, fit, and finish. I was going to buy the smaller 31" to match for under my Gladiator...
I found this "Sweet Dodger Blue" KRL-722 on Craigslist LA. The seller gives some very cocky conditions for making an offer, including " reply with a picture of the money laid out on the table giving me the double bird with true PIRATE pride". I deal only with forthright NORMAL sellers and this...
How about these? The dude doing the comparison has a great accent - you'll see:
I have pair of the 36" 71 72 910 Knipex bolt cutters. Used them only a couple of times - but find reasons to use them!
This is the Knipex page with cable and wire rope cutters...
All the comparisons between Knipex and Gearwrench boil down to way more than leverage. Sure a $2.00 cheap 3lb dead blow hammer may hit harder than a 1lb Estwing, but the quality is not there in the materials or fit and finish. The quality of Knipex steel exceeds anything made in Asia, as well...
Knipex Twin-Force are under $60 at Amazon:

I know Gearwrench are better than most Asian imports, but Made in Germany trumps China or Taiwan, especially Knipex...
I got the 10" Hi-voltage pliers wrench. It is really nice, especially the handles. I also have a 10" with red/blue comfort handles, and the hi-voltage handles are much more comfortable. The Hi voltage also have a metric guide printed on the slide that is not on the regular ergo handles.
