This is probably the best method for me specifically. I wanted to ask is the ring on the inside? And this is a tough one but does it impede the airflow To have a ring on the inside? my gut would be to put it on the outside with screws but I don't know if that matters.Outside would probably...
extractor is about 100 inches suction. I want to get this right the first time. Also I would think that any deformation would reduce section. I don't know for sure.
Hello,
I have a dust extractor (not fien) with a very small dust bag/filter .I want to attach a Dust Deputy 2.5 to help increase my bag/filter capacity. I have been told that 80mil buckets are too thin, and that 100mil buckets are preferred. I am wondering if this applies to dust extractors...
i have always used filters and bags in shop-vacs. got tired of the mess years ago, in the can, in the air and on surfaces. never loooked back. what about hooking up a euro vac with a smaller hose to like a band saw? is a table saw possible?
is there anything a shop vac that does better? vacmaster does make a hepa vac, but their CFM numbers are low.
maybe possible to convert. hard to do sucessfully due to side vents. there is also an issue with possible back pressure from the back port. I think there might be an issue doing...
prices are so much higher. Not even moderate amount. I can't ( yet) justify spending $1200 on a dust extractor.
I notice that the hose on all of them are very small. Maybe great for small power tools, but picking up stuff off the ground? is the performance really is good for that? what about...
My shop vac Kicked the can.
After servicing it, I have decided that I want a vacuum that has a filter downstream of the motor or brushless system or central vac. even though I use a HEPA filter + high eff bags on my shop-vac brand, it is downstream of the dust particles and not the motor...
I don't like the cost of the plug-and-play solutions. As far as switches go, I understand the issue at the power strip side. On the machine side I have used 20 amp motor switches made by Leviton. What's the difference between a manual motor starter and a Leviton 20 amp motor switch...
Electric motor slightly under 15 A
no. That's not what I meant. Overhead shop lights is on its own light switch standard. The surge protector just allows for Any machines to be ready to use. I only use one machine at a time on any circuit.anyLED task lights that are attached to the tools to be...
For clarification, I'm talking about a 20 amp circuit. My mistake the load itself is a 14.5 ampMotor. But I'm using a 20 amp circuit. I usually don't run anything else at the same time with such a load
I kind of like this, but at the same time it would be nice to have something that was just...
Hello,
typically in my shop I tend to turn on all of my lights and loads by turning on A surge protector When I enter and leave. I'm looking for a simple switch that can handle a motor load up to 20 A. I suppose ideally it would be a power bar, or a single switchbut the only thing I foundWas...
I saw the pump motor. The bearings were making a slight noise. What about the other motor with the service factor (SF)of 1 rather than 1.15? given that a bandsaw will come close to stalling and sometimes
