What size wire should i run in either at that distance at either 150' or 250'

The pumps draws 8.9amps. A 30amp Double Pole Beaker is requested. Should i run copper or is aluminum ok? The distance won't be more than 250' but i will check this weekend to make sure because it may be closer to 150'
