    Above 1200 Sq/FT Vel's 40x60 Garage

Looks great so far! I did the gable ends of the metal panels on my garage by myself, so I feel your pain there. Gotta say, I'm so jealous of the 40x60 footprint! I wanted to go that big, but the town gave me grief.

Sorry xwild, haven't been on the site for a bit... I read so many articles about what material is the best to use and if stapling directly to the insulation or having it float is best...you'll get tons of different opinions. If interested, check out BadgerBoiler and his posts on this site. He...

    My infloor heat

I used the crete heat panels as well. I got them at a steep discount from the manufacturer because of defects...in the end, it was well worth the purchase. I did the tubing install in a few evenings after work.

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT Paul_VR6's Cramped Double & Big Single Shop Thread

Re: Paul_VR6's Cramped Double "and" Big Single Shop Thread Nice Corrado and impressive numbers! I've owned almost a dozen of them over the years. I always loved the sound of a vr6! Love seeing all the vw guys on here too.

Yeah, me too...this the first one I've actually done myself. It took some time to figure out some fitment issues, but I finally got it. Plan is to start the car tonight for the first time. Crossing my fingers

    Mr Bob's Garage

I can understand that rational. I keep my shop at 50, but our winters aren't nearly as nice! But don't forget, you don't have to totally finish the radiant system like I did... Assuming you want to stay where you're at for awhile, remember you might change your mind someday. And it's always a...

My home garage build in the woods of NY

Saw your username and had to check out your garage build...was hoping to see the Corrado, but a bunch of your pics don't work. Love what I've seen so far though. Kinda wish I went 14' tall for a mezzanine build. Nice to see another VW fan on here!

Has anybody here built their garage THEMSELVES?

I did the majority of the work to build my 30x40. The major jobs I couldn't do myself, I had friends in the business do it and I helped when needed. So, the pole setting and framing, concrete work, excavation/landscaping work, spray foam, and EMT piping. The OHD installs were the only area I...

    Will I regret a lift?

I don't think you'll regret losing some floor space. I have a 30x40 and have 2 cars parked during the winter. I still have plenty of room on the other half to pull cars in and out to use the lift. Plus, you have another 10' deep. The problem always is, if you have the room, you find stuff to...
