    HOT DEAL Index!!

I have that set of clear handles. They are a trilobed design and are just okay. They don't seem to fit my hands well. Each turn of the fastener seem to have the grip out of position. A friend of mine has the dual texture ones and they feel fine to my hands, It might be the deeper dishing between...

We got everything for $300. I might do some maintenance for my brother. It needs one belt for sure as it is coming apart a little. I will change the oil for sure. Maybe i'll put in the new valves that are included. What do most people do when they do a freshening? and thanks for all...

80 gal Champion compressor and air dryer. how much?

It was running this morning and they pulled it out for a much larger unit. Unfortunately, I didn't see it run in person. Should that motor be okay for that pump. I don't have crazy high expectations and it will be used in a home garage. I was told less than $400 for everything Any info...

    Craftsman "Cobra" Pliers Sale

This site is awesome. A couple of days ago I bought a couple sets for Christmas presents at the $24.99 price. After reading this post, I called local sears hardware and found that they were $14.99. Went back to sears today and got my sets and a couple more (more Christmas presents) price...

locking vs non locking flex head

I have both types of gearwrench flex heads(locking and non) and have used craftsman locking. If I were to get one, I would say get the locking sets for sure. There are tons of times that I need to put sideways pressure on the wrench to keep it on a hard to reach bolt. If you are using the...

Anybody have a Kobalt 80 gal air compressor

Well we bought 2 of these buggers. I'll report back how they work out. My friend and I figure, if they don't quite cut it...at $400 out the door you can always dump them on craigslist and not lose much, if anything. Craig

    GearWrench Survey

For small or clean bolts (not rusty) i will use the gearwrench to break them free and torque them down. Since i live in Wisconsin and drive clapped out cars, most larger bolts are rusty and i use a regular box wrench or breaker bar to get those off. Craig
