    compressor not building enough air?

    hoping someone here can help me .........i bought a compressor and just got it hooked up its around a 73 model and its not building enough air to even show up on the gauge ...just wondering if anyone could give me some things to look for as in trouble shooting...

    any automotive fabricators on the board?

    im an out of work mechanic..... and as hard as automotive jobs are to get right now id hang on to that job........ as you learn more and get to do more at the work you'll like it better than just changing oil .... i'd just try to hang on and work through being burnt out on it
