Hey, i like the picture it shows brass jaws inserts for the vanderman#3. I didnt know why it had that empty space between the pipe jaws. Pretty cool. Probably no to hard to fabricate a set.

Fresh, just drop off by the UPS truck. It needs a new pair of jaws but in good shape over all. little broken of pieces where the jaw sits but I think I can filled that with some tig welding filler. (wounder if there is a better way to fill the broken off pieces). I was surprised the wrenches...

It is a number 3, I dont think it weight 300lbs, It feel like around 175lbs i pick it up by myself with no problem I try to take it apart but i think is design to come apart from the handle side. I am not sure. But it is a monster, i love it. very good shape over all.

Parker collectors, i know this is a vise forum but i didnt know where to post this. My question is. Is this bronze parker bear ever made by parker or it is a copy. I know is old and it looks cool and has petina but Was this ever made as a parker original item.

I got it as a package. I was surprised when i got it bacause its condition. It has the original paint and jaws are in good condition 9 of 10 overall. I trying to get parker as collection but it is hard to find nice ones. I am looking for a parker 474. I am very please with it.

That a nice piece. If it was mine. I would removed the primer on the lead screw and clean it very well leaving the original petina. I would use boiled lenssy oil to avoid rust. It is a very nice piece. Thanks for sharing those pics.
