Standard welding supply plymouth ma. If they don't have a kit or wont sell you one i doubt you will find it. They have rebuilt regulators for me but ive never tried to buy the kit alone. There shop is packed with every type of regulator and connection available.
I just really got the chance over the last week to use the kreg to build a storage bed for my house. It cuts extremely well with glue ready joints for pocket screw construction. I bought the kit with the extra rail but i did all the cutting with the table saw for longer than one track. The blade...
I just purchased the kregg one another option and everything ive used from kregg is good. One track showed up today but no saw i can update when the saw shows up. If your interested? This is the real track saw not the sled for a circular saw from what ive seen on the track im impressed so far...
3m5200 available at home depot. Used for boat construction and penetrations below the waterline. It is really sticky and seals well hard to remove though. Another option would be a conventional duct seal product.
Fiskars for me too. 6-8 cords a year all but the worst twisted pieces i do by hand. The bad pieces go on a pto splitter. If its straight and clean wood its faster for me to do by hand with the fiskars. Get the one with the long handle as the fiskars works better with a fast head speed.
It works well to open and close the stand with the saw on it. It is almost balanced when you push the petal the saw weight opens the stand. It is easier to open it with the saw on it then not. Id say you lift no more than 25 lbs to open it when the saw is installed.
I have the ridgid stand with wheels it was nicer than the dewalt one home depot had. I think it was the saw caddy one. I chose it because it had bigger wheels and i move the saw a lot to my parents houses or grandparents. The saw mounts to two tracks that clamp onto the rails. It is still heavy...
Depending on use and if you carry it all day in a pocket, I really like the gerber knife. Blade changes are a little slow with a screw that physically holds the blade. If you are going to carry it in jeans all day its hard to beat this one. When open i think there is enough handle to get a good...
I have a wen and besides being a little loud it works pretty well. All electric drywall sanders are kind of heavy after a while. Id buy another one in a heartbeat though for doing alot of ceilings
For a really large ratchet strap something can be fabricated to use a ratchet strap and some steel. I think hisky sells ridgid knock offs at home depot. If the strap slips on the gear throw a piece of rubber inner tube under the strap and it will grab better
