I just bought a Wright tools 3490 ratchet. When I received it the chrome on the anvil was peeling pretty bad, I emailed wright and they sent me a account number, to take to UPS, to ship the defective ratchet back for warranty.

Could you use a Gearwrench 84 tooth rebuild kit?

Has anyone tried heat shrink tubing? It comes in different lengths and colors, and is pretty cheap too.

Yes, 60 teeth as mentioned already. I was looking at the Williams USA made flex head ratchet with 36 teeth, but settled on the Carlyle because the higher tooth count. It’s pretty smooth but could use a little SuperLube. I wish Carlyle made a comfort grip 90 tooth flex head without a quick release.

Is this a “new, old stock” ratchet, or did they change the head designs to move the screws from the back cover plate to the front?

The TEQ Correct ratchets look just like the Husky ratchets. If I’m not mistaken Husky tools are made in China.

I just picked up a 6 piece set of Milwaukee screwdrivers from Home Depot today. I didn’t really need them since I already have a bunch of Craftsman and a few Gearwrench screwdrivers but they felt good in the hand.
