Thanks Mike, I appreciated your opinion. I'm going to fix it with weld in washers and a proper shoulder bolt. Even if it doesn't fix the clunk, it will let me sleep better at night.

Mike, Hopefully you don't mind me running this by you. I remember seeing some time back that you pointed out an egged out hole in a traction arm and how you fixed it. I've had a clunk on the front end of my 2017 GMC Canyon that I cannot figure out what it is. When replacing the front struts I...

I have the bells of steel buzz saw bench with leg curl/extension attachment. I'm very happy with it. Their cable machine looks like a nice unit too

I haven't used the retractable ratchet straps yet, but considering how lazy I am with rolling up my regular ones, I really should try them. They make them so they can be permanently mounted which I thought would be handy for a trailer...

Need to descale my Open Loop Geothermal Coax. Any advice?

I do this with mine. I don't use a submersible pump, just a cheap regular pump I got off amazon. I just used use white vinegar.

I think this weekend I'm going to put a real carnuba wax on my corvette. Its been at least 2 years since I've used it.

I did some washing this past weekend. Your comment about missing a traditional sealant had me reaching for an old favorite of mine.

Check the wear on the input shaft. When we dropped the trans on my friends ~800hp propcharged fire chicken, the Mcleod had a small contact area on the input shaft and it was heavily worn...

    Overspray Cleaning/Removal

I've taken off light overspray with clay bar. That's the least intrusive method. I'd start there.

Why not use luxury vinyl for garage floor?

I worked in the tool rental department at the home depot. The bench in my work shop was done in LVP and the gas/grease/brake clean would pretty quickly destroy the LVP. I can't speak to how it would hold up in a garage that is just used for parking but I wouldn't do any work on it.

Do you coat the fender liners with anything? My old truck has similar liners and I'd use WD40 or Chemical guys Barebones to give them a nice shine (also made them easier to clean next wash). My current truck has those felt liners so I don't do anything but power wash them real well.
